Our past, passion, present, process and potential

Where We Came From

Three partners established CREO in 2007 with a vision to create unique marketing tools that are effective and exciting. The core team, Marcus, James and Ryan, leverage more than 20 years of experience in Branding, Creative Development, Software Architecture, User Experience Design and Product Lifecycle Management. Today, CREO is a network of more than a dozen professionals, all experts in their fields.

Rooted in Faith

We are a group of Christians who want to glorify God with our gifts and talents. We believe that God created everything and that He has instilled us with the innate desire to create. God is our focus, reason, inspiration, our all. It is our purpose to work everyday as though we are working for God, the all powerful creator of everything to His Glory.

Our Culture

We are dedicated to producing the best product we can deliver and therefore are always challenging each other to push the limits. At the same time, we often have meetings at our favorite coffee shop, watch a little of The Office during lunch, and break up the work day with epic battles at the ping-pong table.

Often we have lengthy conversations about new possibilities and brain storm new ventures. Encouraging new ideas and giving them a voice is crucial to a creative environment and will produce huge dividends if allowed to grow. At CREO we are devoted to nurturing new ideas that show potential for awesomeness.

Client Type

While we are interested in working with many industries, so far we seem to have a penchant for working with start-ups, coffee houses, building products and educational institutions.

At CREO, we appreciate the time and dedication people give to their non-profit organizations. To help out we offer discounts to non-profits, cause they deserve to have marketing collateral and websites that rock as much as they do. Here are some stellar non-profs we have partnered with:

  • Triad School
  • CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children)
  • Suburban Heights Baptist Church
  • Hosanna Christian School
  • Klamath Falls YMCA
  • Add to Your Faith Ministry
  • Girls on the Run Bay Area
  • Younglife

How We Do It

Whatever the industry is, we approach each client and project with a systematic creative and engineering process. Our processes allow for an efficient work flow that fosters creative ideas. Here is our website process in a nut shell:

Discovery: Here we dive into the organization to understand whom you need to reach and why. This phase consists of internal stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, goal identification and the identifiers of key performance indicators.

Design: Here we add form to function. We present multiple mood boards to get an accurate feel for the site and then follow that up with website mock-ups to nail down the theme and interaction.

Development: At this point we hand the designs and blueprints over to our programmers and they make interactive magic happen. They create all of the infrastructure to handle the site and then create webpages from the approved comps.

Content Gathering: Here we can either work with one of our copywriters for all of the major marketing points and get the detail information from the client, or the client can give us all of the copy. Either way the goal of this phase is to collect all of the copy and images and get them into the site.

Debugging: Before we let the whole world play with the website, we want to make sure it works properly. So we test the site with users to make sure they can find what they are looking for and navigate the site easily. This also allows us to find any possible bugs that would pop up and fix them before launching the site.

Deploy: After we have our streamlined polished site ready to meet the world, we host it on our server and point the url over to the new site. We then send an html email out to your email list announcing the new and improved site.

Where We Want To Be

We figure since we started up in an economic downturn, why not grow in the midst of it too. Our portfolio and credibility continue to grow which we hope will help us to gain clients who fit with us and our culture as well as add some members to our team who are ready to rock.

We are currently developing our own web app called Soonr {www.launchsoonr.com}. Soonr is going to be pre-launch marketing fuel. It will help designers, agencies and start-ups quickly put up a coming soon page with plug-ins to social media and the ability to capture the email addresses of interested viewers.

Other than that, we are going to get more involved in our industry by going to conferences and networking with other's like us more and more. So if you are an agency who would like to meet up and get to know each other a little better, just give us a call.
